I thought it was amazing that Barack Obama was setting fund raising records last month. But not we are less than a week into February and according to Politico he is already on track raise $30 million or more! Between Super Tuesday (Feb 5th) and February 7th, Obama raised $7.2 million! For a comparison, it took Clinton from February 1st to February 7th to raise just $6.5 million.

Regardless of fund momentum, Clinton still has a political machine and momentum can be manufactured at any given moment. Obama must scrape around in the mud for a while until he can find momentum. Although after sleeping on it, I do believe he had the momentum coming out of Super Tuesday.
